Biography

Regina Harsanyi is an Associate Curator in Media Arts at the Museum of the Moving Image. She advises artist studios, art museums, galleries, auction houses, and private collectors on preventive conservation, variable media arts, and the use of plastics and distributed ledger technologies. Harsanyi previously facilitated over 200 exhibitions with a focus on creative technology and served as the Director of Programming at Wallplay. She has experience as a Registrar at Sotheby’s. Harsanyi is a graduate of New York University’s Institute of Fine Arts and has taught at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Columbia University, and NYU, while also lecturing globally. Her recent curatorial work includes the acclaimed exhibition 'Auriea Harvey: Veins Wires, Body Keyboard' at the Museum of the Moving Image, scheduled for 2024.
