Biography

Reid Pauly teaches on topics related to coercion, nuclear weapons, proliferation, nuclear strategy, wargaming, and interstate secrecy. He has served as a visiting scholar and research fellow at various prestigious institutions, including the Center for International Security Cooperation at Stanford University, the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard Kennedy School, and the Dickey Center for International Understanding at Dartmouth College, as well as being affiliated with the RAND Corporation. Reid earned his PhD in Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he specialized in the Security Studies Program, and holds a BA from Cornell University. His academic interests focus on the intersection of international security and nuclear policy.
