Dr. Reinhard Stelter

Biography

Reinhard Stelter is an emeritus professor of Sport Coaching Psychology at the University of Copenhagen, where he has been involved in research and teaching since 2000. His academic journey began with a PhD in Psychology from the University of Copenhagen in 1994. Stelter specializes in coaching psychology, lifestyle changes, identity, motivation, and talent development. He has held various prestigious positions, including visiting professor roles at Copenhagen Business School and the University of Sydney, and has directed courses on personal leadership and transformative dialogue. Stelter's research has influenced the field of coaching psychology significantly, leading to active involvement in several scientific councils and organizations related to sport psychology. Throughout his career, he has received multiple awards and recognitions for his contributions to the field and is a founding fellow of the Institute of Coaching at Harvard Medical School.
