Biography

Dr. Renata Urban is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Washington. She is the Program Director of the Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship and is board certified in Gynecologic Oncology since 2015 and Obstetrics & Gynecology since 2009. Dr. Urban completed her Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Stanford University in 2011 and her Residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology, also at Stanford, in 2008. She earned her MD from Boston University in 2004. Dr. Urban has been recognized by Seattle Met Magazine as one of the Top Doctors in Gynecologic Oncology in 2020. She has active memberships in several professional organizations including the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Urban has been part of the UW Medicine faculty since 2011 and actively engages in clinical practice at the University of Washington Medical Center, specializing in gynecologic oncology. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, exploring the Pacific Northwest, cooking, and running.
