Biography

Renée E. Duff is the Clinical Associate Professor and Senior Associate Dean at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and D.D.S. from the University of Michigan and completed her M.S. in Prosthodontics in 2005 after several years in private family practice in Ann Arbor. Since 1997, she has taught clinical prosthodontics at Michigan and currently oversees the Office of Student Services as Associate Dean, where she manages admissions and aspects of student life for predoctoral, dental hygiene, master's, and PhD programs. Active in professional organizations such as the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association, Dr. Duff is also a member of the American College of Prosthodontists and the American Dental Education Association. She has participated in the American Dental Education Association Leadership Institute. Her clinical practice is focused on prosthodontic treatment and implant therapy, and she is passionate about interacting with students and promoting patient care. Her research interests include investigating materials and techniques that enable predictable esthetic dental implant restoration in both fixed and removable situations, along with educational research related to dental admissions.
