Dr. Reza Kholghy

Biography

Reza Kholghy is an Associate Professor and a Canada Research Chair specializing in Particle Technology and Combustion Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a B.A.Sc in Aerospace Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. His research interests lie predominantly in sustainable energy solutions, focusing on the applications of particle technology and combustion processes. Through his academic career, he has contributed significantly to advancements in energy efficiency and clean combustion technologies, enabling the development of innovative engineering solutions to contemporary energy challenges. He is actively involved in several interdisciplinary projects and collaborates with various stakeholders to promote sustainable practices in engineering. Kholghy is committed to education in his field and aims to inspire a new generation of engineers to pursue sustainable energy research and technology.
