Biography

Reza Zandehshahvar is a Research Engineer II in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. He received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2023, where he also obtained his Master’s degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2020 and 2017, respectively. Earlier, he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Computer Engineering in 2014 from Shiraz University. His research focuses on applications of Machine Learning and Optimization, particularly within supply chain management, healthcare, and inverse design engineering. Throughout his academic career, Reza has received various accolades, including the Georgia Tech Sigma Xi PhD Thesis Award in 2024 and multiple Graduate Research Assistant Excellence Awards. He has played a pivotal role in educational initiatives and community engagement within the engineering field.
