Biography

Dr. Rhonda Mittenzwei received her medical training at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine and completed her residency in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Duke University Medical Center. She furthered her education with fellowships in Neuropathology at the University of Washington and Forensic Pathology at the King County Medical Examiner’s Office. Dr. Mittenzwei is particularly interested in the intersection of brain injury and neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease and Lewy body disease, as well as vascular pathology. She is board certified in Neuropathology and Anatomic Clinical Pathology, demonstrating her dedication to both clinical practice and academic research.
