Biography

Ricardo Andres Vasquez Dazarola is a Visiting Researcher at the Centre for European, Comparative and Constitutional Legal Studies at the University of Copenhagen. His doctoral project is titled 'Automated Weapons of Mass Persuasion: EU Legal Responses to Artificial Amplification of Disinformation During Elections' and spans from September 2022 to August 2025. In addition to his research, Vasquez Dazarola teaches courses on human rights, democracy, and digital technology, underscoring his commitment to exploring the intersections of law and technology in democratic principles. He previously served as a policy advisor in the Chilean Senate and has taught at Universidad de los Andes, focusing on online content regulation.
