Biography

Richard teaches MSc Entrepreneurship at UCL's School of Management, focusing on modules such as Customer Development & Lean Startup and Retail & Consumer Entrepreneurship. He advises high-growth early-stage businesses and consults for corporates on innovation, leveraging a deep understanding of changing technology to create new ways for consumers to engage with brands. This insight has fundamentally transformed consumer purchasing behaviors. He has extensive experience in building disruptive businesses, including his role as Entrepreneur-in-Residence. Richard is also the Chairman of TBP and a Non-Executive Director at Old Street Labs, and he hosts a podcast called People Tell Richard Stuff. Previously, Richard founded and led Reevoo, a prominent user-generated content platform that worked with 300 brands across various sectors including retail, travel, automotive, and financial services. Before that, he was a senior strategy consultant at KPMG in the technology, media, and telecommunications sector and served as interim Head of Group Planning at Orange, covering 22 countries. Richard holds a PhD from the University of Bristol and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management.
