Dr. Richard Bensel

Biography

Richard Bensel is the Gary S. Davis Professor of Government at Cornell University, where he specializes in American politics and political economy. He has a Ph.D. from Cornell University and has focused his research and teaching on various aspects of American political development, including political parties, elections, and the United States Congress. His interests also encompass comparative state formation, political culture, institutional change, and the philosophy of social science.
