Biography

Richard S. Brown is currently an Associate Professor of Strategic Management at Penn State Harrisburg, having joined the faculty in 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from St. Joseph’s University, an MBA from Lehigh University, and a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Temple University. Dr. Brown is a recipient of several awards, including the 2013-2014 Beta Gamma Sigma Professor of the Year Award from the School of Business Administration and the 2019-2020 Excellence in Teaching Award campus-wide. He has published 26 peer-reviewed articles in various respected outlets such as the Journal of International Management, Management Decision, Business Politics, Journal of Air Transport Management, Journal of Public Affairs, Journal of Managerial Issues, and Journal of Management Organization.
