Biography

Rich Bundro is an Assistant Teaching Professor at the Smeal College of Business, Pennsylvania State University, where he specializes in Finance. He holds a Ph.D. in Learning, Design, and Technology from Pennsylvania State University, expected in 2025, a Master’s degree in Finance from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on Philosophy and Cognitive Science from Rutgers University. His expertise includes Metacognition, Cognitive Science, Learning Science, Decisions under Uncertainty, and Behavioral Finance. Rich teaches multiple finance courses, including Corporation Finance and Financial Management, where he emphasizes critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and the integration of financial knowledge into business practices. He is dedicated to providing students with a foundational understanding of financial principles and practices that are essential for managing business operations effectively. Through his teaching, he aims to enable students to assess firm performance, understand risk and return concepts, and apply valuation theories in real-world scenarios.
