Dr. Richard Connors

Biography

Rich Connors is a member of the History Department at the University of Ottawa, focusing on the political, constitutional, and legal history of Britain and its colonies from 1660 to 1850. He has taught at the University of Essex in the UK from 1992 to 1993 and at the University of Alberta from 1994 to 2002. Connors has been with the University of Ottawa since 2002. He also served as the Project Director for the Alberta Constitutional History Project in the Centre for Constitutional Studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Alberta, from 2002 to 2005. He has co-edited books and published numerous articles on British and imperial legal history, showcasing his scholarly interests in the legal frameworks and historical contexts of the era.
