Biography

Richard Conrad holds a PhD in Chemistry from Cambridge and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Oxford. He joined the Dominican Order and has held several positions, including Novice Master and Parish Priest in various locations, including Edinburgh and Leicester. His academic career includes teaching at the Maryvale Institute, where he developed distance-learning course materials on topics such as the Holy Trinity and Soteriology. He directed the MA in Catholic Theology from 1997 to 2007 and served as Vice-Regent of Studies at Blackfriars until 2013. In 2014, he became the Director of the Aquinas Institute, a position he held until Easter 2021. He is also a member of the Liturgical Formation Sub-Committee for the Catholic Bishops’ Conference from 2014 to 2018.
