Richard Evans is an Associate Professor of Digital Innovation in the Faculty of Computer Science at Dalhousie University. Before joining Dalhousie University, Richard worked as the Director of the BSc Product Design programme and as a Senior Lecturer in Human Factors Design at Brunel University London. From 2015 to 2018, he served as a Senior Lecturer in Information Management at the University of Westminster. Richard has over 90 scientific publications in recognized journals and conference proceedings, reflecting his extensive contributions to the field. He is actively involved as the Vice President of Technical Activities and a Member of the Executive Board of the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society, and he co-chairs the IEEE TEMS Design Engineering Technical Activity Committee. In 2020, he co-founded the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Good, sponsored by IEEE and the International Telecommunications Union.
