Biography

Richard Mawle is a Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer in Product Design at the University of the West of England (UWE). He holds a BEng, MA from the Royal College of Art (RCA), and a PhD from Loughborough University. His research interests lie at the intersection of sustainable design, robotics, and AI ethics, with a particular emphasis on circular economy principles.
