Dr. Richard Mitchell completed his medical training at the University of Queensland and undertook pediatric training at Sydney Children’s Hospital. Additionally, he is a member of the Australian Children’s Cancer Trials board. His research interests focus on high-risk leukemia and non-malignant transplantation, and he currently leads a national trial investigating the use of TCR α + β + /CD19 + cell depletion in pediatric patients undergoing bone marrow transplantation.
