Dr. Richard Selby

Biography

Richard W. Selby is an Adjunct Professor at the USC Marshall School of Business, teaching Data Sciences and Operations. He leads a 250-person software organization at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems since 2001, where he serves as the Director of Software Products. Prior to this role, he was the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Management at PIMCO, overseeing a team of 105 from 1985 to 1998. Selby was previously a Full Professor of Information and Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine, holding a tenured position. His academic and professional expertise spans various aspects of data sciences and operations, including business analytics and forecasting techniques in diverse business environments.
