Dr. Richard Veldhoen is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Department of Medicine at Queen's University. He completed his MD at Queen’s Medical School and pursued residency in Queen’s Internal Medicine. Additionally, he has completed fellowship training in General Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine at Queen's University. In the academic arena, Dr. Veldhoen is particularly interested in patient outcomes, trials, and the use of large observational datasets for research. Currently, he attends the Quinte Healthcare Belleville intensive care unit where he applies his expertise in a variety of patient care settings.
