Dr. Rick Antle

Biography

Rick Antle is a Professor at Yale Law School and an expert in the interface of accounting, finance, and economics. His widely cited research focuses on executive compensation, performance evaluation, resource allocation in firms, and the auditing industry. He has served as an Associate Editor for several academic journals including Contemporary Accounting Research, the Accounting Review, and the Journal of Accounting Research. Antle co-authored the textbook 'Financial Accounting' (South-Western, 2004), which is used in various levels of accounting courses including executive programs. He has held the position of William S. Beinecke Professor of Accounting at the Yale School of Management. His administrative experience includes serving as Senior Associate Dean from 1999 to 2005. Additionally, he is a co-founder of two financial services firms and has extensive experience in consulting engagements related to hedge fund valuations and auditing standards.
