Biography

Riitta Valijarvi completed her PhD thesis at Uppsala University in Sweden in 2007 and has since dedicated her academic career to the study and teaching of Finnish minority languages. As an Associate Professor (Teaching) at University College London, she has been instrumental in developing programs related to Finnish language and culture.
