Dr. Rima Bhattacharyay

Biography

Rima Bhattacharyay is a full-time faculty member in the Strategy Area at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business. She teaches the advanced experiential learning Strategy capstone, Management Game. She earned her Ph.D. in Strategic Management from McGill University and has a diverse educational background, including a Master's in Public Administration from Cornell University and a Master's in Management from Queen's University. Throughout her academic career, Rima has held teaching and research positions at prestigious institutions such as Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management, Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, and Queen's University. Additionally, she has been a visiting scholar at the Graduate Research Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) in Tokyo and has conducted research at the Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry (RIETI) in Japan, a leading policy think tank. Her research interests encompass Strategy, Innovation, Family Business, Corporate Governance, and Management Education Development.
