Dr. Rimas Vaisnys

Biography

Rimas Vaisnys is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Yale University. With a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, his research interests focus on ecological and evolutionary processes, dynamical systems, and computation in physics. He explores behaviors in real systems through both observational and theoretical techniques suited to the specific situations at hand. His work applies advanced methodologies from probability theory, statistics, discrete computational mathematics, linear algebra, and differential equations.
