Rita joined the Group Sustainability Technology (SusTec) in November 2023 as Project Manager for the Catapult Assessment Workstream within the CGES initiative, a Switzerland-wide project co-led by ETH Zurich and EPFL. This initiative involves numerous industry, philanthropy partners, researchers, as well as federal and local governments. Rita is engaged in developing a technology assessment framework and applying catapult (demonstration plant) candidates to ensure that CGES projects contribute effectively to the Swiss energy transition industry. Before joining SusTec, Rita gained professional experience as an Energy, Utilities, and Environment Consultant at Sia Partners in Paris, France, where she developed expertise in the energy transition and green gases, collaborating with major energy companies on innovative energy projects. Rita holds a Master's degree in Engineering from a French engineering school, part of the University Paris-Saclay, with a major in Energy and a minor in International Project Management. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Economics obtained during her engineering studies.
