Biography

Rita joined the sus.lab in April 2025 as an intern, supporting the Carbon Removal Innovation Booster and contributing to projects focused on household food waste in Switzerland. She worked on a project centered around Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS). In October 2025, she became Project Manager at sus.lab, continuing her focus on the Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) Booster and CCS initiatives. Rita holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Management and Technology from the E4S program, involving EPFL, IMD, and UNIL. Previously, she worked as a consulting trainee at Zühlke in their sustainability transformation division, where she wrote her master’s thesis on corporate readiness for the European Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
