Biography

Dr. Robbie Stewart is an Associate Professor of Medicine and a cardiologist with fellowship training in echocardiography from the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. He practices at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, where he is the Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory and oversees non-invasive cardiac testing. He has been involved in teaching since 2009, covering various aspects of cardiology and echocardiography to senior residents and housestaff. His leadership roles include being the Quality Assurance Director of the Division of Cardiology and Chair of the Department of Medicine Quality & Professional Appraisal Committee. He has received several accolades, including the Cardiology Resident Award for Excellence and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. In addition to his clinical work, he is actively involved in service activities and committees related to the improvement of cardiology education and patient care at QEII Health Sciences Centre.
