Biography

Robert M. Aydukovic is a Teaching Specialist and Program Director of the Construction Management Program at Michigan State University. He coordinates the Graduate Certificate Program and has extensive experience in industry relations, along with advising the Student Builders Contractors Association and coaching the Commercial Competition team. Prior to joining MSU, he served as the president of the Maryland Center for Construction Education Innovation (MCCEI). Aydukovic has spent over 30 years working in the construction, real estate, economic development, and education sectors, focusing on general construction labor, project management, and market feasibility financial analysis within undergraduate program administration. His initiatives have resulted in more than $700 million invested and 1,500 jobs created or retained in Maryland since 1996. His teaching and research interests encompass building reuse and repurposing, financial feasibility, public-private partnerships, land use pattern analysis, and economic forecasting. He has also served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Baltimore and Johns Hopkins University. Aydukovic earned his Master of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University and his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management from Michigan State University. He is actively involved in several boards and commissions, including the Maryland Workforce Alliance and the MSU Construction Management Alumni & Industry Advisory Board.
