Biography

Robert Baldwin is an Emeritus Professor of Law at the London School of Economics. He has written numerous books and learned articles on regulation, notably the widely used academic volume 'Understanding Regulation' (Oxford, 1999), co-authored with Martin Cave. He directs LSE's Short Course on Regulation, designing and delivering training for participants from diverse governmental and corporate backgrounds worldwide. His extensive work has influenced debates and practices concerning regulation, compliance, and risk management across multiple sectors.
