Biography

Robert Bone is a leading scholar in the fields of civil procedure, complex litigation, and intellectual property, recognized particularly for his theoretical and interdisciplinary work. He has published numerous articles in leading law journals, authored several essays and books, and has lectured extensively both in the United States and internationally. His notable book, "The Economics of Civil Procedure," has also been translated into Japanese. His areas of specialization include the application of economic analysis to procedural issues. Bone's work addresses critical topics such as class actions, innovative case aggregation techniques, and the nature of procedural rules, reflecting an economic, historical, and jurisprudential perspective on law. He has co-authored an advanced procedure casebook titled "The Law of Class Actions and Aggregate Litigation."
