Biography

Robert M. Chesney is the Dean of the School of Law at the University of Texas at Austin and the Director of the Robert Strauss Center for International Security Law. He specializes in national security law, specifically issues related to terrorism. He served on the Justice Department’s Detainee Policy Task Force under Executive Order 13493 and is a member of the Advisory Committee for the American Bar Association's Standing Committee on Law and National Security.
