Biography

Robert Demir is a Senior Associate Professor specializing in Strategic Management at Linköping University. His research focuses on strategy practices and processes in private and public organizations, with a particular interest in open innovation practices, business model innovation, and digital transformation. His work often employs qualitative survey methods to test and explore new theoretical ideas and empirical phenomena. He earned his PhD in Strategic Management from Stockholm Business School in 2010 and has received numerous grants from organizations such as VINNOVA and the Marianne & Marcus Wallenberg Foundation. Before joining Linköping University, he held positions at Stockholm University, Lancaster University Management School, and the House of Innovation at Stockholm School of Economics. He also serves as the Deputy Vice President for Events at the International Federation of Scholarly Associations in Management.
