Dr. Robert Dubrow

Biography

Robert Dubrow is a Professor at the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs, heavily involved in the educational mission of the Yale School of Public Health and research related to public health challenges. He is committed to advancing education, training, and research on the intersection of climate change and health. As the Faculty Director of the Yale Center for Climate Change and Health, he aims to create a cohort of leaders dedicated to addressing climate-related health issues, establishing educational programs for students, and catalyzing multidisciplinary research to generate innovative interventions and policy prescriptions. Dubrow has served on the Advisory Board for Cool Effect, which identifies carbon emission reduction projects globally, facilitating support from donors. His teaching credentials include courses on Epidemiology, for which he was recognized as Teacher of the Year in 2002, 2007, and 2012. Dubrow also co-chaired the Yale School of Public Health Accreditation Advisory Committee, overseeing the successful re-accreditation process in 2014. His research has historically addressed cancer and HIV, focusing on glioma and HIV-related malignancies while currently developing programs in public health practice concerning climate change and health.
