Biography

Dr. Robert Durand obtained his degree from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Montreal in 2002. He then studied for a year at the University of Rochester in New York state to obtain a multidisciplinary residency certificate and spent three years at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis where he obtained his certificate of specialization in periodontics and a master's degree in science. After graduating, he worked for two years in private practice in Saint Paul, Minnesota, before returning to Quebec in 2008. He holds the titles of ‘Fellow’ of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and ‘Diplomate’ of the American Board of Periodontology. He is currently an associate professor at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Montreal and an examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in the specialty of periodontics.
