Biography

Robert Fogerty received his bachelor's degree in Economics from Boston College before earning his MD and MPH degrees at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. Following the completion of his internal medicine training at Yale New Haven Hospital in 2011, he joined the Yale faculty as a founding member of the Academic Hospitalist Program. In addition, he serves as a Senior Medical Director of Clinical Leadership at Yale New Haven Hospital, where he supports medical directors across various clinical specialties. His professional contributions include co-founding the Society of Hospital Medicine Connecticut Chapter and holding positions such as Co-Director of the High Value Practice Academic Alliance. He is recognized as a Senior Fellow by the Society of Hospital Medicine and has received awards for his excellence in clinical education and innovative teaching practices.
