Biography

Robert D. Graham, M.D. is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Orthopedic Associates of Central Texas. Graduating with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he went on to earn his medical degree from Duke University. He completed his orthopedic residency at Duke and his fellowship training at Taos Orthopedic Institute in New Mexico. In clinical practice since 2003, Dr. Graham specializes in shoulder surgery, particularly total shoulder replacement, reversed total shoulder replacement, revision shoulder replacement, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, labral repair, fracture care, and treatment for shoulder instability and dislocation. In addition to his private practice, he is an affiliate faculty member in the orthopedic residency program at Dell Medical School. Dr. Graham has been involved in clinical academic research and has co-founded the Austin Shoulder Institute, affiliated with Orthopedic Associates of Central Texas. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the Texas Medical Association.
