Biography

Robert Gray is an award-winning writer and filmmaker who has directed seven short films, including "My Husband’s Jump" (2017), "Choke Hold" (2015), and "zack & luc" (2013). His films have been featured in festivals around the world. His feature film, Entropic, was released in 2019 after receiving development funding and has been recognized in the industry. Gray has published two collections of short stories: Crisp (2010) and Entropic (2015), the latter published by NeWest Press, which won the prestigious Thomas Raddall Atlantic Fiction Award and was shortlisted for the New Brunswick Book Awards. He has also written novels that have been published serially in Xtra West. Additionally, his poetry has appeared in Broadview Introduction to Literature, the anthology Seminal, as well as various magazines including Malahat Review, Windsor Review, and ARC Poetry Magazine.
