Robert Hare is Emeritus Professor of Psychology at the University of British Columbia. He has dedicated his academic career to the investigation of psychopathy, examining its nature, assessment, and implications for mental health and criminal justice. Over his 35 years of research at UBC, he has become a foremost authority on psychopaths, authoring several books and more than a hundred scientific articles on the subject.
