Robert C. Kapel is an Assistant Professor Adjunct in the Department of Digestive Diseases at Yale School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Weill Cornell University Medical College and completed his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where he also served as Chief Resident. Following his residency, he completed a gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Miami. With over 20 years of experience in practicing clinical gastroenterology and endoscopy in Connecticut, Dr. Kapel is involved in a variety of clinical research activities with a focus on Eosinophilic esophagitis, Barrett’s esophagus, Celiac disease, and adherence to physician practice endoscopy guidelines. He is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly in the New York Metro Area.
