Biography

Robert earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 2020, where his dissertation focused on the development and testing of therapeutic ultrasound in the submegahertz range to treat stroke. He obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine in 2022. After completing his preliminary intern year in General Surgery at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital, Robert joined the Yale Diagnostic Radiology Residency in 2023 and subsequently transferred to the Yale Integrated Interventional Radiology Residency Program. He is actively involved in research and has published works with frequent collaborators in the field of therapeutic ultrasound techniques and their applications in large animal models for disease treatment.
