Robert Lemon is an urban geographer and environmental designer who studies the social and cultural transformations of North American cities. His research focuses on Latino immigration, cultural landscapes, food practices, and the design of culinary spaces. With a diverse academic background, Robert is able to integrate various perspectives on urban spaces, critically assessing and addressing urban social issues creatively. He holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Master's degree in City and Regional Planning from Ohio State University and a Master's in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning from the University of California, Berkeley. Robert has served as a lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley in Landscape Architecture and has periodically taught as a visiting professor at Heidelberg University in Germany and the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain. He is the author of 'The Taco Truck: Mexican Street Food Transforming the American City' published by the University of Illinois Press.
