Biography

Robert J. Moon is an internationally recognized researcher in cellulose nanomaterials (CN). He specializes in processing-structure-property relationships and applies aspects of CN research to nanocomposites, hybrid composites, recyclable solar cells, and multi-scale modeling and characterization. His research program focuses on nanoscale science and engineering of CNs, which is highly collaborative. He holds Adjunct Professor appointments at Purdue University’s School of Materials Engineering and the Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Materials Science and Engineering. Currently, he is a member stationed at the Renewable Bioproducts Institute at Georgia Tech.
