Professor Dr. Robert Partridge

Biography

Robert Partridge, MD, MPH, is an Adjunct Associate Professor in Emergency Medicine at Brown University. He graduated from Tufts University and completed his medical education, obtaining a Master's in Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health and a diploma in Tropical Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Section of International Emergency Medicine. He has undergone residency training at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and is board-certified in Emergency Medicine. His research interests include medical education, international travel medicine, geriatric emergency medicine, and injury control. He has authored significant works in the field, including studies on bioterrorism preparedness and the rates of alcohol and nicotine dependence among elderly patients in emergency departments. Partridge has received multiple accolades for his contributions to teaching and research, including the Jacek B. Franaszek Faculty Teaching Award from Rhode Island Hospital. He actively collaborates with professional organizations such as the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine.
