Dr. Robert Pistey

Biography

Robert Pistey, MD is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. He has been a faculty member since 2003 and has extensive experience working as an attending physician, lab instructor, and mentor to pathology residents. Dr. Pistey has taught students and fellows who have gone on to prestigious institutions such as Johns Hopkins, Columbia University, and the University of Washington. He is a member of the BMC Cancer Care Committee and is committed to professional development through continuing medical education courses at Harvard Medical School. His research interests include various MeSH-based concepts, particularly in the fields of Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Laboratory Medicine, reflecting his dedication to advancing knowledge and practice in these areas.
