Robert (Bo) Riewerts, MD, is a Board Certified Pediatrician who joined USC Student Health in fall 2021. He has over 30 years of experience as a practicing physician, with the majority of his career spent at Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Riewerts graduated from USC School of Medicine (now Keck) in 1987 and completed his internship and residency training in Pediatrics at LAC/USC in 1990. Throughout his career with the Southern California Permanente Medical Group, he served in various leadership roles overseeing pediatric care provided by 600 Pediatricians and Pediatric Subspecialists to millions of members in Southern California. He has also been involved in teaching and community service, serving as an attending physician for Pediatrics Residency Training programs at Keck School of Medicine and Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, frequently mentoring medical students and nurse practitioners. He donates his time to boards, including the Pasadena Community Health Foundation, Foothill Family Service, Camp Ronald McDonald, and the Boys and Girls Club of West San Gabriel Valley, as well as the Salerni Collegium Alumni Association at Keck School of Medicine. He resides in Pasadena with his wife, Susan Regas, and enjoys traveling, cycling, hiking, skiing, and playing tennis in his free time.
