Biography

Dr. Rohling received his Ph.D. in Information Engineering from Cambridge University. He developed 3D medical imaging software and has been a faculty member at the University of British Columbia (UBC) since 2001. His work focuses on medical imaging, ultrasound, image-guided interventions, and tissue characterization. Dr. Rohling’s primary research efforts emphasize a convergent approach, bringing together relevant expertise to address complex research problems with significant societal impact.
