Biography

Robert Silverman is a distinguished pianist and Professor Emeritus at the University of British Columbia’s School of Music. With a career spanning over five decades, he has been recognized as one of Canada’s premier pianists. Silverman has performed complete sonata cycles of Beethoven and Mozart in prestigious concert halls around the globe. His performances with some of the world's greatest conductors, such as Seiji Ozawa and John Eliot Gardiner, have solidified his reputation in the classical music community.
