Biography

Robert Soulé is an associate professor at the Università della Svizzera italiana. His research interests include distributed systems, networking, and applied programming languages. Before joining USI, he was a postdoctoral associate at Cornell University. He received his PhD from New York University in 2012 and a BA from Brown University in 1999. He has also contributed to the Data Intensive Systems Analytics Group at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center. His work has garnered several awards, including the IBM Invention Plateau Award and the Google Faculty Research Award, as well as paper awards at prestigious conferences such as ACM DEBS 2012 and USENIX NSDI 2018.
