Biography

Robert D. Spears is a Professor and Associate Dean for Student and Academic Affairs at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Dentistry. He specializes in teaching Head and Neck Anatomy, Oral Biology, and Neuroscience. His research primarily focuses on how the nervous and immune systems interact in the context of pain and inflammation, with a particular emphasis on temporomandibular joint disorders.
