Biography

Robert J. Sternberg is a Professor of Psychology at Cornell University and an Honorary Professor of Psychology at Heidelberg University in Germany. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Sternberg previously served as the President of various psychological associations and has held positions such as Provost and Senior Vice President at Oklahoma State University. His research interests focus on intelligence, creativity, wisdom, teaching and learning, leadership, and emotional dynamics in relationships. He has authored over 2,000 publications and has garnered over 269,000 citations. Sternberg's recent works include studies and books addressing transformational creativity and giftedness in childhood. He holds 13 honorary doctorates and has received numerous accolades, such as the Grawemeyer Award in Psychology and the Florence L. Denmark Award for significant contributions to psychology.
